  1. I’m glad you brought out the issues we face as a muslim ummah. This episode touches the heart because you can see that Omar Regan is trying to do something to better the muslim ummah and he keeps getting haters as a results. It’s so disappointing and it’s even more disappointing that we keep ignoring the issue. Thank you for bringing it up, talking about it, and offering some hope to those going through the same thing.

  2. Assalamu Alaikum,
What a great first episode MashaAllah with a great first guest. You’re a natural and sound like you have been doing this for years! May Allah put barakah in your time and work.

  3. Asalam alaikum,

  4. As Salaam Alaikum! Love the podcast Mashaa Allah. It was very interesting to hear Omar’s story. It was also interesting to hear about comedy and Islam as well as how comedy is viewed differently amongst cultures. Can’t wait for the next one.

  5. MashaAllah keep up the great work! I can truly say that I enjoyed listening to the WHOLE podcast. Can’t wait to see what’s coming up next! Mabrook Baba Ali!

  6. Alhamdulillah great show informative, funny and encouraging. Glad you are back. May Allah put loads of barakah in all that you do and protect us from the evils of our own selves (and others). Ameen.

  7. Assalamualaikum. Baba Ali u are realy doing a great job, may Allah continue to increase u in knowledge and hikmah of passing the information to the public. Its really interesting and gives hope to upcoming youths. I am eager to watch the American sharia movie. Jazakallahu khairan.

  8. MashaAllah! What a great start to an awesome podcast show!! I’m only 20 minutes into the first episode and I’m already hooked! Really loved listening to the realities of Muslim comedians, which people often miss out. Also, respect to Omar’s mission to ‘reeducate’ himself and all Muslims through comedy. Education and comedy, are some of the hardest fields to be a professional in. Keep up the great work Ali!!

  9. I enjoyed seeing the inside experience of a Muslim comedian. Omar’s story is very inspiring. Baba Ali seems like a really good host, doesn’t interrupt, listens, asks good questions. Keep it up and best of luck to you both. inshAllah

  10. As I web-site possessor I believe the content matter here is rattling magnificent , appreciate it for your hard work. You should keep it up forever! Best of luck.

  11. Thanks for having the guts and grit to start this show. Another opportunity for haters to point and criticize, while they do nothing creative to help others grow and evolve. Looking fwd to future episodes.

Was nice to hear Muslim comedians share their experiences, passions and projects – not easy stuff that you do.

  12. Nice, I was missing your reminders ^_^

A note on only listening to your own plan and ignoring other people…
That is true if you are doing something by yourself and for yourself, which is the situation brother Omar was addressing, so this is not addressed to Omar or Ali’s situation.

However, if you are leading a team (even more so if it is a non-profit): consult your team, listen to their advice, and get individual permission (not only “rubberstamping”) from those you are employing to do a specific mission, -before- you make the final decision as explained in more detail in ayah [3:159]. Don’t be that dictator guy :(

  13. Awesome podcast again! So sad that Muslims who try to make people laugh cop so much criticism from yes…Muslims!!! And hey ‘Laughter is truly the best Medicine’ for so many.
Muslims need to spend less time looking for faults (that aren’t even there) in others, and wipe that ‘angry bitchy resting face’ away… that so many Muslims constantly have …obviously not following the example of our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) who smiled all the time.

  14. After examine just a few of the blog posts on your website now, and I actually like your approach of blogging. I bookmarked it to my bookmark website list and will be checking again soon.

  15. Jazakallah kahir for this podcast

You have another hit on your hands

Everything you touch turns to gold by the Will of Allah

Mashallah it doesnt matter what medium your message comes through, you are always entertaining and informative

I cant wait for the Yasir Qadhi episode.

    Thanks Baba Ali
